My stay at Villa Alejandra was a mix of good and bad. The location is quite nice, tucked away on a quiet street close to the tourist area, and I appreciated the friendly staff. However, I was disappointed with the breakfast offerings and the disturbing noise from nearby construction.

Rooms
6.0
The room was comfortable enough, but it was poorly lit, which made it hard to read at night. Despite that, the bed was cozy.
Service
7.0
The staff were pleasant and helpful, always trying their best to fix issues like the bad odors in the bathroom. I felt well-treated but wished they'd provided more information about the hotel and local attractions.
Location
7.0
The hotel is conveniently located on a quiet street, but it's a bit far from the Ado bus stop, making it a long walk or an expensive taxi ride. The area feels safe, even at night.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was quite lacking, with only simple items like white bread and jam and no real coffee. I was often told everything was removed way before the time it was supposed to be served.
Facilities
5.0
The pool was a nice touch, although it was a bit cold when I visited. The amenities are basic, and the kitchen area could definitely use an update.

I had a wonderful stay at Villa Alejandra Hotel Boutique, appreciating its lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and local cafes, although some noisy construction in the area was a minor drawback. My room was spacious and well-lit, though I did encounter some issues with hot water and Wi-Fi during the rainy days. Overall, it was a charming experience! 🌞🏖️

My superior double room was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of daylight. However, the hot water was problematic at times, which was disappointing.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my month-long stay, though sometimes it was hard to find someone when I needed assistance.
Location

The hotel was in a nice local area, a short walk from the beach and 5th Avenue. The construction next door was a bit noisy in the mornings, but overall, I felt safe and comfortable walking around.
Dining

Breakfast was very basic, consisting of toast with margarine and jam, and instant coffee. It was a little lackluster, but I suppose it aligned with the affordable price I paid.

The rooftop terrace was a great spot to relax and enjoy a drink in the late afternoon. The kitchen in my room was well equipped, which I appreciated.

My experience at Villa Alejandra was a bit mixed. The location was great, being on a quiet street while still close to main attractions. However, the breakfast options left a lot to be desired, and I faced some challenges with service during my stay.

Rooms
7.0
The room was cozy and simply decorated, though I struggled with a frosted glass door that lacked a proper curtain. The noisy building site nearby also made it tough to get a good night's sleep at times.
Service
6.5
The staff were pleasant and helpful, but there were moments where I felt more information about the hotel or the surrounding area could have been shared. This left me feeling a bit in the dark during my stay.
Location
8.0
I appreciated the hotel being in a safe area close to restaurants, yet still away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. It was just a short walk to Playa central, making it convenient for exploring.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was very basic. I found it lacking in variety and quality, with just white bread, jam, and watery coffee. It didn't quite meet my expectations for a boutique experience.
Facilities

While the hotel had a pool-which was nice. it was a bit too cold for me. I appreciated the charm of the setting, but it could use some upgrades.

I had a short yet good stay at Villa Alejandra, which provided a lovely retreat from the busyness of Playa del Carmen. The beautifully prepared room and friendly staff made my experience enjoyable, though the location was a bit further from the Ado bus stop than expected. The small pool in the charming courtyard was a highlight for relaxing in the sun. Overall, I appreciated the comfort, despite a few minor inconveniences.

Rooms

The Deluxe Studio I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, equipped with a small kitchen and hot water in the power shower, making my stay feel a tad luxurious. However, the shower curtain didn't reach the floor, leading to some water leakage.
Service

The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive! They made sure I felt comfortable during my stay, even allowing me to store my luggage after checking out.
Location
6.5
The location was a bit far from the Ado bus stop, requiring a long walk or an expensive taxi ride. However, being slightly away from the main tourist hustle was a nice change of pace.
Dining

I unfortunately missed breakfast, but I've heard it's served on the rooftop. However, from what I gathered, the dining options seemed a bit basic for my tastes.
Facilities

The small pool surrounded by flowers in the courtyard gave it a pleasant vibe, making it a lovely spot to relax. Though there were a couple of hiccups regarding the shower, overall, the facilities were nice.

I had a decent stay at Villa Alejandra Hotel Boutique for my nine nights in Playa del Carmen. The rooms are clean and equipped with convenient amenities like a mini fridge and microwave, but I wished the breakfast was better. especially since the coffee was cold and the selection was quite limited. Overall, for the price, it offers good value, but there are areas that need improvement.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms are tidy and comfortable, featuring air conditioning and a kitchenette. I appreciated the consistent housekeeping service, but the lighting could be better.
Service
6.0
The staff was not very welcoming. I found it difficult to get information at check-in, and there were times when I had to seek out staff for assistance. Their friendliness varied significantly.
Location
7.0
The location is a bit further from the main attractions, but it was a pleasant 10-minute walk to 5th Avenue. I felt safe walking in the area during the evening.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was underwhelming. it included only cold coffee and limited choices like toast. I ended up buying my own food to store in the fridge for more satisfaction.
Facilities
7.0
The pool was always clean and well-maintained, which I enjoyed. However, the lack of attention to issues like the shower's water pressure was disappointing.
